How can I see which days are available?
The best way to see which days are still available at the Peach Mansion is to click on the BOOK NOW button. It will take you to our booking "engine" that is hosted separately. Don't worry, you can look at possible dates without locking one in.
Are pets allowed at the Peach Mansion?
Right now, our policy is no pets. We are working on a way that would allow you to bring dogs in the future, but we must find the right policy to protect them home and allow for our cleaning crew to still be efficient in preparing the home for the next guests.
What is the minimum night stay?
Our minimum nights varies over the course of the year. Currently it is 5 consecutive nights in July and August. 2 nights in Sept - May and 3 nights in June. We will continue to learn from our guests and our bookings and adjust accordingly. When you are booking, it will let you know how many nights you need to stay.
Is the home walking distance to the beach?
We are inland by about 8 blocks, it is a fairly direct walk due west to reach a beautiful sandy beach. We have wagons at your disposal to help haul your beach toys, food and kiddos. There is some public parking available in town, a little closer to the beach, and you can also go to city hall and purchase a temporary parking pass that will allow you to park at the beach lots.
Does the home come with bed linens and towels?
Yes, we provide all of the sheets, towels and wash clothes that you will need for your stay. If you find that you need more during your stay, just let us know.
Are the kitchens fully appointed?
We believe that we have the basics of what a large group would need to properly prepare meals for a large group. In fact, we have at least 2 of everything as we have 2 kitchens in the home. If you do move things from one kitchen to the other, we ask that you put them back after you clean them so that both kitchens remain outfitted for future guests. Beyond the kitchens, we also have a propane gas grill on the deck.
Does the home have wi-fi?
Yes it does, we'll provide you with the password when you arrive. The bandwidth should be high enough to cover many people enjoying streaming, games, texting, etc, etc, etc all at once. It is set up to cover the entire home.
How many guests can we have at the Peach Mansion?
We are permitted to have 12 guests at the Peach Mansion. If your group is larger than that, drop us a line, we have a good relationship with some neighbors who also rent their homes. Perhaps your group of >12 can be on adjoining lots.
How many beds are there?
There are 8 total beds in the home, plus 2 couches. The breakdown goes like this; Blue Room - 1 queen + 1 twin, Pink Room - 1 queen, Peach Room - 1 queen, Green Room - 1 double/full + 1 twin, Game Room - 1 twin, Lodge - 1 queen. View our photos to see all of these rooms.
Does the Peach Mansion have security cameras?
Protecting our investment, and your belongings, is important to us. We do have cameras outside the doors to have a history of anyone who is not supposed to be on the property. Like you, we are travelers too...so we want to be upfront with our guests about cameras. We do not have any cameras in the living areas inside. You know that when you stay at the Peach Mansion that your privacy is very important...and that if someone were to enter without your permission, we'd be able to identify them.
